Quality Assurance

The Biological Research Centre (CIB) is a multidisciplinary centre, with researchers in the fields of biology, agricultural science and chemistry. In spite of its complexity, we are all united in our desire to excel in our scientific endeavour both nationally and internationally. The highly specialized scientific services provided by this centre represent one of its strengths, which apart from being essential for the scientists working at the CIB, provide support for other public and private research centers, universities and companies. With the aim of improving these facilities in line with the objectives laid out in its Strategic Plan, the CIB has introduced quality management in the centre, based on the ISO9001 standard. Our purpose is to progressively improve the services we can offer and guarantee that the customers of our facilities receive the highest possible quality for the services requested. At present we have four scientific units that have obtained the ISO9001 certificate and our aim is to gradually obtain the official certification for the rest of our facilities.
