“MASSTRPLAN” proyect (MASS Spectrometry TRaining network for Protein Lipid adduct ANalysis) started 1st Octuber 2015, with the participation of the research groups of Dr. Dolores Pérez-Sala (Posttraductional modification of proteins) and Dr. German Rivas (Biochemistry of bacterial cell division), and sums up with the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie, "Innovative Training Networks" (ITN) Actions, TOLLERANT (Toll-Like Receptor 4 activation and function in diseases: an integrated chemical biology approach), and EUROLEISH-NET (Control of leishmaniasis, from bench to bedside and community), both starting at the beginning of 2015 with the participation of Dr. Sonsoles Martín Santamaría (Computational Chemical Biology) and Dr. Vicente Larraga (Laboratory of Molecular Parasitology) groups, respectively.
ITN Actions are part of the "European Training Networks" constitute by consortiums of several partners from, at least, three state members of the European Union with the objective of forming young researchers in the beginning of their scientific carrier (PhD) promoting exchange and multidisciplinary experiences in academic and non-academic enviroments.
With the addition of MASSTRPLAN the CIB stand out as a very active institute in the development of formative actions within this european program.
