February 11th, International Day of Women and Girls in Science

UNESCO stated in 2015 February 11th as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science in order to inspire and promote women's participation in education, training and science and technology and recognize the critical role of girls and women in the scientific and technological communities.

At the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas, 58% of the staff are women, working as scientific personnel, as well as in training and technical and administrative support.
