
The Science Week is an international event of scientific outreach which has been celebrated in Spain since 2001 bringing together scientific institutions and researchers to put within reach of society the latest scientific and technological advances, opening labs and offering hundreds of activities.
This year will be celebrated from November 5th to 18th and it counts with the participation of more than 600 institutions in Madrid offering 1000 activities with the participation of more than 3000 researchers from a wide range of disciplines.
Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas will participate in this XVIII edition with events celebrated not only at the Institute but also in external locations.
There will be two open doors events, as well as six practical workshops about topics related with the research conducted at CIB. Also, with the collaboration of “Jam Science – Divulgación Científica” two outreach talks will be celebrated at the Moe Club (Madrid) on November 5th and 13th and, organized by “Ciencia con Tres Encantos”, one celebrated at Restaurante Los Castilleros (Tres Cantos, Madrid) on November 15th.
